Terms of Service — Lumina™ Last updated: July 2026 1. Acceptance of Terms By creating an account or using Lumina™, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the service. 2. Description of Service Lumina is a desktop application that assists with job searching. It uses AI (Google Gemini) to analyse job listings, score relevance against your CV, and generate tailored career documents including cover letters and CVs. 3. Your Data You retain full ownership of all data you provide, including CVs, cover letters, and job preferences. We process your data solely to provide the service described above. 4. AI Processing Lumina sends your career data to Google Gemini's API for analysis. This data is processed according to Google's API terms and is not used to train their models. 5. Account Deletion You may delete your account at any time via Settings > Account > Delete Account. This permanently removes all your data from our servers. 6. Data Export You may export all your data at any time via Settings > Account > Export My Data. Data is provided in JSON format. 7. Limitation of Liability Lumina is provided "as is". We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated content. You are responsible for reviewing all generated documents before use. 8. Visa Sponsorship Information Where a job is marked as offering visa sponsorship, this is a best-effort indication based on matching the employer against public records (such as the UK Home Office register of licensed sponsors). It is a guide to help you find relevant roles, not a guarantee. Holding a sponsor licence does not mean a company will sponsor every role: a company may hold a valid sponsor licence but choose not to offer sponsorship for a particular role or vacancy. An employer may also have changed its position, or may be matched in error. We only try to highlight potential sponsors, and we do not accept responsibility for any reliance on a sponsorship indicator. Always confirm sponsorship directly with the employer before applying or making any decision. 9. Changes to Terms We reserve the right to change these terms at any time. We may update these terms, and continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. You will be notified of significant changes.
